Custom Color Wig Approval — Procurement Workflow Example

Illustrative workflow — not a verified customer case. The example below explains procurement decisions. It does not document an actual order, sample approval, QC result, shipment or repeat purchase.

Buyer Context — Example

A buyer developing a colour assortment needs a physical target and defined placement. This example does not claim that a specific buyer ordered or approved any shade direction.

Technical Scope — Fields to Define

Field Approval record
Target shade Physical reference and identification; a photograph can support but does not replace physical comparison.
Root / mid-length / ends Record tone, depth and transition positions only where the chosen design uses them.
Construction / texture / length Evaluate the colour on the intended finished construction and texture.
Sample / revision Compare side by side under agreed conditions; record comments and version.
SKU / bulk reference Tie the final approved master and specification to the correct code and packaging label.

Procurement Challenge

A generic colour name does not specify placement or finished appearance. In a real project, solid, rooted, highlight, piano, ombre or balayage must be named only if that direction is actually in the approved brief.

Reference → Sample → Approval

  1. Confirm the target and relevant colour zones.
  2. Develop a sample in the intended construction.
  3. Compare tone, placement and hair condition.
  4. Record revisions with sample/version identifiers.
  5. Approve the physical master and SKU specification.
  6. Use the master as a reference for the agreed bulk review.

QC / Packaging / Repeat Reference

For an actual order, colour observations should remain connected to the sample, specification and SKU. Artwork and shade names must match that approved identity. This example provides no ΔE tolerance, colourfastness result, identical-batch guarantee or repeat-order evidence.

Outcome and Evidence Boundary

No customer outcome is documented. The workflow can become a real case only when the target, sample/revision, approval and any production claims are supported by project records.

Buyer Questions

Can a photograph alone prove a production colour match?

No. The selected physical reference, finished sample and agreed comparison conditions are needed.

Does this example show a real custom-colour order?

No. It explains an approval workflow and does not claim a customer transaction.
