Private Label Commercial Planning
Define Product, MOQ, Sampling and Brand Presentation Together
Build a Brand Collection With One Approval Record
Develop a human hair wig range around your target customer, sales channel, quality positioning and product concept. Each sellable SKU needs an approved finished wig and branded pack. This private label route organizes the collection and presentation; OEM/ODM manufacturing handles benchmark-led product development and technical approval.
| Collection stage | Decisions to make | Approval output |
|---|---|---|
| Brand brief | Market, customer use, sales channel, launch scope and presentation. | Buyer brief and benchmark references. |
| Product construction | Select glueless, lace-front, HD lace, closure, full-lace or 360 lace directions; review feasibility. | Construction/lace/cap standard for each platform. |
| SKU planning | Map cap size, length, texture, density/weight and shade variants to product codes. | Assortment matrix, quantities and sample coverage. |
| Sample / golden reference | Review fit, hairline, parting, texture, color, measurements and silhouette; record revisions. | Accepted sample IDs and current specifications. |
| Color / texture / density | Approve physical shade, finished pattern and density distribution; specify weight separately. | Reference by SKU, including custom color placement. |
| Packaging / artwork | Box/bag/labels/inserts, product text, barcode and carton allocation. | Current artwork version and pack proof. |
| Bulk / QC | Manufacture and check against accepted product and packing requirements. | Inspection, disposition and product-to-label checks. |
| Repeat order | Retain sample, specification, shade and artwork versions; approve changes. | Reorder comparison and change approval. |
Ways to Start
Choose a Development Route That Fits Your Stage
A new brand may begin with a small, focused assortment, while an established buyer may need a broader range. We review each enquiry according to product specifications and quantities.
Selected Base Styles
Start from suitable existing product references and concentrate customization on the assortment, branding and packaging.
Focused Launch Range
Build a concise collection around one customer group, such as glueless, bob, long or pixie wig buyers.
Expanded Collection
Plan multiple constructions, lengths and textures for a wider salon, retail or distribution program.
Check Launch Readiness Before Bulk Production
Use the sample and bulk order process to connect the approved product, packaging version and written SKU specification before production begins.
- Define the customer, sales channel and opening SKU quantities.
- Approve the product sample ID, cap, lace, length, texture, density or weight and physical shade reference.
- Map each brand SKU and shade code to the product specification revision.
- Approve labels, barcode, care text and the packaging version for every SKU.
- Confirm quantity, inspection criteria and delivery requirements in the written order.
Choose the Packaging Stage That Fits the Launch
| Packaging stage | Scope | Approval record |
|---|---|---|
| Stock packaging + label | Suitable existing component with brand label or insert. | Component reference, label text and product-to-pack map. |
| Customized decoration | Selected base component with project-reviewed printing or decoration. | Artwork revision and decorated physical proof. |
| Fully custom component | Developed dimensions, structure or materials subject to feasibility and quantity. | Component specification, artwork and finished pack approval. |
Review custom packaging options for component details. Keep packaging choices tied to the launch volume and approved product.
One Sample Approval Record for Each Sellable SKU
Record the sample ID, approval date, accepted measurements and shade, requested corrections, specification revision, artwork version and approving contact. A later change creates a new revision for review; it does not silently replace the bulk reference.
Use the first-order planning guide, wig SKU matrix guide and artwork approval checklist to prepare the record.
Before Starting Your Private Label Project
Can I start private label without fully custom packaging?
Yes. Many projects begin with suitable stock packaging plus labels or inserts, then move to more customized components after the product range and volume are proven.
Should I approve the product and packaging separately?
Approve both, but keep them connected under one project record. The final bulk order should reference the approved product specification and the correct artwork/packaging version.
How many SKUs should a new brand start with?
A focused launch is often easier to sample, finance and reorder than a very broad first assortment. Choose the customer segment first, then build a small core range around it.
What information helps VAYORA quote a private label project?
Send your business type, target market, preferred products, quantity by style, color/length plan, packaging requirements, reference materials and delivery country.
Keep Product Identity and Brand Artwork Together
A correct wig can still be packed with the wrong length, shade, size or barcode. Approve the product-to-pack map before printing, keep artwork approval separate from product approval, and compare the finished pack with both records. A logo proof does not approve cap or shade changes; a product sample does not approve every packaging revision.
Review artwork approval, packaging formats, samples and MOQ planning, golden-reference control and QC. See Manufacturing Process for production-stage explanations.
Evidence for a Branded SKU Approval
A private-label approval connects the product with the correct branded pack. Record the buyer SKU, product sample ID, physical shade reference, specification revision, artwork revision, barcode or label copy, pack-out instructions and dated approval. These are fields to complete for the project, not a claim that every record already exists.
| Approval field | What to record for this product |
|---|---|
| Product approval | Sample ID, specification revision, agreed fit/measurements, physical shade and dated disposition. |
| Artwork approval | Current file revision, logo/label copy, barcode where used and written approval. Product approval does not approve new artwork. |
| Product-to-pack check | Compare each SKU, length, shade and size with its label and packing instructions; record the inspection result when the check occurs. |
| Repeat specification | Retain the accepted product and artwork references; document requested changes before repeating the order. |
Use the artwork and label approval checklist, approved product-reference control and product-to-pack inspection planning to prepare the record. The multi-SKU launch workflow is an illustrative process example, not a verified customer outcome.
The anonymous lace-front repeat-purchase record concerns quality-tier selection and a later purchase. It does not verify branded packaging approval, glueless construction or a documented QC result.
Production capability
Connect the Brand Brief to a Confirmed Production Route
Use the VAYORA Production Capability center to review the confirmed product systems behind a private-label collection. The commercial project remains controlled through the sequence below; capability is not treated as a universal promise for every construction or quantity.
Product & Specification
Define the construction, cap or lace, length, color, texture, density or weight and target assortment.
Review production scope →Sample & Manufacturing
Confirm feasibility, sample references and written revisions before the accepted route enters bulk production.
View sample-to-bulk workflow →QC, Packaging & Repeat Orders
Connect the approved product with inspection criteria, artwork and the correct product-to-pack record.
Review quality controls →Packaging capability is reviewed separately on the Private Label Packaging page; final feasibility, quantity and timing are confirmed by project.
Review the Approval Workflow Before Your Quote
For a project spanning wigs and extensions, review our production capability to connect product, sample, packaging, QC and reorder decisions. This page remains the specialist route for private label wig collections.
Use the illustrative multi-SKU private-label launch example to plan product, artwork and label approvals. It is a process scenario rather than a confirmed customer outcome.
Use the private label SKU matrix and approval workflow guide to keep product variants and approval records aligned.
Ready to Plan Your Private Label Wig Collection?
Send your target styles, estimated quantities, preferred specifications and packaging direction. We will review the project and confirm the next steps.
Prepare your private-label RFQ
Organize product requirements, packaging direction and proposed SKU variants before requesting a private-label review.
For a glueless collection, complete the private label cap, lace and finishing checklist. Compare the mid-tier lace-front repeat-purchase case when setting quality priorities; that historical case does not establish a glueless cap.
Develop a Private-Label Glueless Configuration
Keep the selected cap, lace, hairline finish and adjustment system linked to the product and packaging brief. Review the custom glueless sample-to-production route when the program starts from a reference wig or a new cap configuration.
