Buyer Focus: Allocate project-specific quantities across a wig SKU matrix before requesting a supplier quote. For a general explanation of MOQ, read Wig MOQ Explained.

Start With the MOQ Basis for Each Variable

A quoted minimum can apply to an entire program, one construction, a color batch, a length, a packaging print run or another component. Ask the supplier to state the basis for every minimum in writing. Availability and quantity allocation are subject to final specification, sampling and project requirements.

Turn the Assortment Into an Allocation Sheet

Use one row for each proposed sellable SKU. Record the wig construction, color, length, density, cap, packaging version and intended launch role. Add columns for the supplier’s MOQ basis, which components can be shared, what requires separate preparation and any unresolved question.

  • Group shared components: identify SKUs that use the same cap, lace, hair preparation or packaging artwork.
  • Flag separate work: custom colors, lace layouts and printed packaging may follow different production constraints.
  • Mark trial priorities: retain the combinations needed to test the market and highest-risk specifications.
  • Confirm per-SKU allocation: compare the proposed mix with the supplier’s written feasibility assessment.

Review the Trial Mix Before Finalizing Quantities

A trial allocation should test the important color, texture, construction and packing variables without assuming that every possible combination belongs in the first order. Confirm whether a proposed mix is viable before approving the commercial PO.

Check Materials and Packaging Separately

A wig and its custom box or insert may have different production bases. Record any remaining packaging materials and the agreed treatment of them in the project plan rather than assuming they will automatically carry forward.

Freeze the Approved Allocation

Link the final SKU matrix to the specification sheet, approved samples, artwork version and purchase order. Changes to color, length, cap or packaging should receive a new version and supplier confirmation before production release.

Review Your SKU Allocation

Share your proposed SKU matrix and project requirements so Vayora can review feasible combinations and prepare the next sampling or quotation step.
