Define the intended assortment: individual bundles, coordinated length sets or bundles paired with closures or frontals. Bundle-count combinations remain variants within your program. Start with quantity per length, texture and shade, then decide whether units are packed individually or as an approved set.
| Specification | Buyer decision | Approval / control |
|---|---|---|
| Hair direction | Processing history, cuticle requirements and material terminology | Raw, virgin or Remy claims require confirmed specification evidence |
| Draw and ends | Requested single-drawn or double-drawn direction and end fullness | Compare the proportion of shorter hairs and the end silhouette on an agreed sample; neither term fixes an industry-wide ratio. Retain end-fullness photos and the physical master |
| Net bundle weight | Hair/weft weight basis and nominal target | Record whether the target includes the weft but excludes packaging; define scale check, sample preparation and project-approved acceptance range. No universal tolerance |
| Length and bundle allocation | Lengths, quantities and any coordinated sets | Record natural or stretched measurement condition, start/end points and unit; agree tolerance by SKU before bulk acceptance |
| Texture and shade | Finish, preparation condition and physical color master | Approve together with matching lace piece |
| Weft summary | Requested machine-weft track arrangement | Sample review; technical details on the weft page |
Bundles and Extension Wefts Have Different Buying Briefs
A bundle program focuses on the finished selling unit, assortment, end fullness, coordinated lace pieces and branded presentation. A salon extension-weft program additionally selects machine, hand-tied or genius construction for the intended installation system.
Review weft construction specifications when track profile or installation requirements drive the decision. Its published extension pack references should not automatically be applied to every bundle SKU.
Coordinate Bundles With Closures and Frontals
Approve the bundle and lace component side by side. Record hair length relationship, texture preparation, shade target and any color placement at roots, mid-lengths and ends. Use the closures and frontals hub to select coverage, then define the separate closure or frontal component.
A coordinated appearance does not require identical numerical density or weight across unlike products. Define a separate specification for the bundle and the lace piece, then approve their combined presentation. Keep a set-reference code joining texture masters, physical color masters, component quantities and artwork. Compare root, body and ends in one lighting/preparation condition; a color code or texture name alone does not approve a match.

Bulk QC and Repeat-Order Control
Check net weight on the agreed basis, length, end fullness, weft workmanship, hair distribution, shedding under agreed conditions, texture and shade. Verify bundle/set counts, component matching, labels and packing allocation without inventing a universal tolerance.
Keep bundle and lace masters, SKU allocation and packaging artwork by version. Review changes to hair direction, color processing, texture, weft arrangement or set contents before repeat production.
Inspection quantities, tolerances and test conditions are agreed in the order specification. See how specification and sample approval guide QC.
Private Label and Packaging
Specify individual sleeves, bags, boxes or coordinated sets, plus brand labels, barcodes and inserts. Identify each length and shade clearly; distinguish the sales set from the individual bundle quantity in packing documentation.
Review packaging development and sample and quantity planning. Product and packaging MOQ, pricing and estimated lead time are confirmed for the project.
Procurement Questions
Does a bundle always use the same weight?
No universal weight is assumed. Confirm the net-weight target, included components, measurement method and acceptance criteria for each SKU.
Can bundles and closures be planned as one assortment?
Yes, include both specifications and approve their texture and shade together. Final availability and matching are reviewed by project.
Does double drawn guarantee identical end fullness?
Approve an actual sample and an agreed end-fullness reference rather than relying on the terminology alone.
Is this the same page as the weft extension construction range?
The buying focus differs: this page organizes finished bundle assortments and bundle-plus-lace programs. The weft page covers extension construction systems and technical selection.
Choose a Bundle Texture, Set or Length Brief
Use the Wet & Wavy bundle brief to approve the dry and wet texture reference. For coordinated components, compare bundles with a matching closure and bundles with a matching frontal. Review the 30-inch bundle specification when long-length measurement and end fullness need separate approval.
