Hair Extension Attachment Dimension Control for Bulk Production

VAYORA · Wholesale Buyer Control

Good hair does not approve the attachment. A different tab, bond or seam can change installation, concealment, handling and pack fit. This guide helps buyers carry approved attachment dimensions from the golden sample into in-process and final checks.

Lock the Construction Reference Before Manufacturing

Retain the actual attachment sample, dimension drawing or annotated photograph, measurement method and revision ID. Identify which dimensions are functional and which affect appearance or packaging. Approve feasible SKU-specific ranges with the supplier; a caliper photograph alone is not an acceptance standard.

The measurement guide defines how a reading is taken. Attachment control defines when that approved construction is checked, how a drift is contained and which version production must follow.

Control Points for Tape, Tip and Weft

ConstructionDimension / structure fieldsRelated control
Tape-InTab width, height, shape, base profile and adhesive-covered areaRecord alignment, hair distribution and piece-weight basis alongside dimensions
I-Tip / U-Tip / Flat-TipBond or tip length, width, thickness and agreed shapeCheck hair capture and strand-weight direction using the selected installation system
Machine / Hand-Tied / Genius WeftSeam profile, track thickness, unfolded length and section structureApprove distribution, cut behavior where permitted, section count and packing

Connect In-Process Readings With Lot Identity

Use a control record linking system, SKU, production lot, process stage, sample ID, dimension, actual result, range and reviewer. Compare with the current reference at agreed control points. Review repeated drift rather than relying on an acceptable average to approve all units.

Keep compression, stretching and measurement orientation consistent. Soft tabs, tips and seams can be distorted by handling. Select representative units through bulk sampling coverage and retain evidence of outliers and corrective action.

Dimension Approval Does Not Replace Performance Review

A matching tape size does not establish adhesive wear duration or removal performance. A correctly measured bond does not establish hair retention under installation conditions. A matching weft profile does not by itself approve cut-edge stability or shedding. Define those tests separately with their methods and criteria.

Use the Tape-In adhesive guide, bond quality checks and Weft quality review for construction-specific questions.

Hold, Correct or Approve a Revised Construction

When a dimension differs, identify the affected SKU and lot, record the result and review the agreed disposition. Confirm correction or a formally approved deviation before shipment release. An intentional size change updates the sample, specification and repeat-order revision trail; it should not be treated as an exact repeat without review.

Procurement Questions

Why write down attachment dimensions?

They connect the approved sample to installation, packing and repeatable production checks.

Can attachment size change after approval?

Submit the change for documented feasibility and approval. Review whether a revised sample is necessary before production.

How should tape dimensions be checked?

Define boundaries, orientation, product condition and the measurement tool, then compare with the approved SKU range.

Does strand weight affect bond design?

Review hair amount and bond geometry together against the benchmark and intended installation method.

Should weft thickness be compared with a master?

Yes, using a consistent method and the current construction reference. Do not infer cut or shedding performance from thickness alone.

Apply the Standard to Your Extension Program

Build these controls around your human hair extension program, the selected Tape-In, I-Tip / U-Tip / Flat-Tip or Weft construction. Coordinate the brief with private label collection planning and OEM / ODM manufacturing.

For project approval, consult VAYORA quality controls and sample and MOQ review. Commercial quantities, timing, test scope and acceptance limits are confirmed for your specification.

Keep attachment measurements connected to the current approved specification and manufacturing checkpoints. Review the B2B project development route when preparing the next project decision.
