Hair Extension Pack Configuration: Pieces, Strands, Weight & Pack Structure

VAYORA · Wholesale Buyer Control

Pack configuration defines the sellable unit: what is inside, how it is counted, how it is protected and how it is identified for replenishment. It complements the existing weight-inspection guide by helping buyers approve the finished commercial pack.

I-Tip / U-Tip / Flat-TipStandard 1 g per strand; optional 0.8 g / 0.5 g directions.Selected strand count, tip geometry and whether measured mass includes the bond.
WeftStandard category pack 100 g; unfolded track approximately 1.5–1.8 m depending on construction. Hand-tied reference: 30 cm sections, six per 100 g.Construction-specific track length, section count, protection and sample approval.

These are published VAYORA references for the linked commercial systems, not universal industry standards. The final pack and measurement basis are agreed on the specification and approved sample.

Specify Pieces, Strands and Sections Unambiguously

For Tape-In, distinguish an individual tab from an installation pair. For tips, identify usable bonded strands and the strand-weight basis. Strand weight × strand count gives a planned mass only when both fields use the same basis; verify the actual assembled pack separately.

For wefts, record total mass, track length and section structure. A six-section pack does not imply equal mass per section unless that distribution is approved. Packing instructions must preserve the selected attachment and explain any construction-specific cutting restrictions.

Create the Finished-Pack Specification

Record product code → attachment system → piece / strand weight basis → count → agreed net product or hair mass → accessories / insert → label → barcode → pack revision. Compare the physical product, card or pouch layout and opening / closing method before approving bulk packing.

Use product coding rules to identify the unit and packaging and label QC to verify it. Consult the existing weight guide for actual weighing and counting checks. Carry any changed configuration into the next-order revision record.

Procurement Questions

Should extensions be specified by grams or pieces?

Use both when both affect the sellable unit. Define the counting rule and weight basis.

How many tape-in pieces make one pack?

The published VAYORA standard reference uses 20 pieces and 50 g. Confirm the chosen tab format and final pack.

How should tip strand count be specified?

Record usable bonded strands, strand-weight basis and actual packed count rather than relying on a pack-weight statement alone.

Can the configuration differ by market?

Yes, subject to specification, sample and packaging approval for the selected program.

Can custom packaging change dimensions?

Yes. Verify the actual filled pack and carton rather than estimating from the unfilled packaging.

Apply the Standard to Your Extension Program

Build these controls around your human hair extension program, the selected Tape-In, I-Tip / U-Tip / Flat-Tip or Weft construction. Coordinate the brief with private label collection planning and OEM / ODM manufacturing.

For project approval, consult VAYORA quality controls and sample and MOQ review. Commercial quantities, timing, test scope and acceptance limits are confirmed for your specification.
